Why is spyware in my Windows updates?
Something crashed my computer .. I Reloaded the operating system, Service Pack 3 XP is to download all .. avg found 2 trojan files updated with !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I formatted the hard … Re-installing Windows, all updates, then install AVG … THAT'S ALL .. nothing else was on my computer
Oh, it's a good chance that you have been infected either before or after you installed the service pack "3", but as far as these 2 files updated with the Trojans go? Was it really a day marked files "Windows Update" or "Microsoft"? Well, ummm, who just happens to be at least 1 hacker / programmer who comes to mind that hides your dressing code and requesting updates for Microsoft Windows. One thing though, is very good at writing code, and I would hard to believe that AVG may have detected something he wrote! Of course it is possible that someone else now is copy of his technique, and make a very wrong with that. It would be my guess.
