spyware vs antivirus
Avast (free) to the company from 2004 ed. Symantec AntiVirus?
Ive had the 2004 version (think its 04, not sure) of the company Ed Symantec Antivirus on my copmuter but have started to download good free antispyware / antivirus programs. As for spyware I've run 2 things constant protection, and 2 for scanning (not even 2 things). And for viruses Ive had Avast and Symantec products listed above. The problem is that you can activate a protection constant. So id like to hear what is better as a guard is constant. I Will Always use both to scan Tho. Symantec's product is not obsolete because it still I get the updates today, the most recent downloaded yesterday, im wondering if avast has a better record to prevent things. Thanks
It's really a matter of opinion, but I prefer Avast. Never install more than one anti-virus, as it may conflict with each other.
